What is the Yulemas Masquerade?
A fantasy masked holiday ball, taking place Friday, December 5, 2025 and Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 6 pm in Rockford, IL at The Standard.
Who is hosting the event?
Meadow & Moonshine: Events & Ephemera is hosting the Yulemas Masquerade. Meadow & Moonshine was formerly known as Court of Dreams Events, which was an extension of She Hive 815.
What can be expected at the event?
A catered dinner, including an appetizer and entree, as well as a dessert table for grazing. Open bar for VIP guests, cash bar for GA guests. There will also be a DJ, dancing, cosplay entertainment, photobooth, themed decor, vendor market including services, and more.
Do I need to bring cash?
We kindly ask that you bring cash for tipping bartenders. VIP ticket holders: you have open bar access, but please remember to tip your hard working bartenders! You may also want cash in hand if you are interested in additional services. There is an ATM on site if you forget to bring cash!

Where should I enter the event?
The Standard (214 E State St, Rockford, IL) is located on the east side of the Rock River to the east of Rockford City Market Pavillion. You can park in the Pavillion lot, The Standard’s parking lot (215 S Madison St), or the Trinity Lutheran Church lot. Our main entrance is off the alley. Walk through the big black doors with large gold handles into a world of masked magic!
Will there be a coat check available?
Yes! At no additional fee, guests will be able to use our coat check services on the first floor.
Will there be security on site?
Yes. We will have security on-site during the entire event. Security will assist in check-in and will be present through the event. If you are in need of assistance, please do not hesitate to find any worker for help.
Where can I smoke during the event?
Smoking is allowed outside the front doors, at a respectful distance, or on the rooftop out by the gate, away from the building. Please smoke respectfully and responsibly and use the provided receptacles for disposal of any butts. Vaping of any kind is permitted outside only.
Is the venue handicap accessible?
The venue has an accessibility lift to access the first floor and an elevator to access the second and third floors.
Are tickets refundable or transferable?
All sales are final. Tickets are transferable in limited situations until November 14, 2025, which is our catering deadline. For example, if your husband decides it’s not his scene and you want your bestie to come in his place, we can put his ticket in her name.
Do I need to bring an ID or physical ticket?
IDs must be presented at the door. Physical tickets are not required, but we do ask that guests present their e-ticket at check-in. We can look your name up, but we’d like to avoid a bottleneck by keeping our check-in process streamlined.
What is the dress code? Are there restrictions?
Fantasy-inspired attire, cosplay, or formal attire. No modern street or casual wear, please! Real weapons are not permitted and prop weapons must be peace tied.
Are masks required?
Masks are not required, but HIGHLY encouraged as it is a masquerade. That being said, masks can be painted on, handheld, half-face, or full-face.
